After the motor is disassembled, the stator and rotor should be inspected and cleaned as follows.

　　① Use compressed air or leather tiger to clean the dust on the stator and rotor.

　　②Wipe the oil tower and dirt on the coil with a clean cloth dipped in alcohol or carbon tetrachloride solution.

　　③Clean the iron core, coil and commutator, etc. Metal tools should not be used to prevent damage to the insulation. Clean brush or soft cloth should be used.

　　④Check whether the iron core laminations are tight, whether there are defects such as burrs and corners; whether the clamping bolts are symmetrically compressed, whether the chains, pins, etc. are loose; whether there is any blockage in the ventilation trench and whether the ventilation fins are welded firmly.

　　⑤Check the coil insulation for air bubbles, peeling and damage; whether the binding wires, slot wedges and spacers of the coil are complete and fastened, and whether there is any looseness, movement, or slot wedge protruding from the iron core.

　　⑥Check whether the magnetic pole and the coil are firmly fixed, whether the insulation of the insulating bolt is good, whether the compensation coil on the pole palm is tight, and whether the connection is bent or short-circuited.

　　⑦Check whether the balance weight on the rotor is firm, whether it is shifted or fallen off.

　　⑧ Check whether the armature winding binding wire is firm, and whether the head cover, riser piece and lead wire are damaged or poorly welded, and whether there is any conductive foreign matter between the seams.

　　⑨ Check whether the cage rotor copper bar (aluminum bar) is broken, whether the welding with the end ring is firm, whether there is crack or looseness, and whether the leads are damaged or broken.

　　In the above inspection, if any problems are found, corresponding measures should be taken to repair them, and the damaged ones should be replaced in time.
