  1. Operate the megohmmeter and check the insulation resistance between any two phases with a multimeter. If it is 0.2 megohm or zero at this moment, it means it is a short circuit between the phases. (All wires of the motor lead should be disassembled when checking);

  2. Separately measure the current of the three-phase winding, the larger current is the short-circuit phase;

  3. Use a short circuit detector to check the short circuit between the windings;

  4. Measure the resistance of the three-phase winding with a bridge, and the short-circuit phase is the smallest resistance.

  5. There is noise when the motor is running

  Distinguish the main points between the machine department and the electromagnetic department that hinder the division of the motor: first energize the motor and listen to the sound of the operation, then cut off the power, let the motor continue to run by inertia, if the abnormal sound disappears at this time, it means that the motor is electromagnetic Obstacle, otherwise it is an obstacle to the motor machinery.
